Desma Designs is the Goldsmithing Jewellery Studio of Desma Noble. With a selection of unique jewellery designs, the Studio is actually a practicing, thriving workshop where the focus is all about the making.
A jeweller of 35 years, Desma has a talent for getting to know her clients, then combining their personal style with her own flair for “classic and classy”, to design and hand-craft timeless fine jewellery.
A qualified gemmologist, Desma selects premium precious gemstones and metals to handcraft jewellery for your everyday look or a cherished bespoke family heirloom.
Repairing or restoring “old loves” to their former glory, or remodelling them into a new treasure, is a specialty that Desma is renowned for.
Laser welding is a specialty enabling more diverse techniques for our jewellery services.

Discovering very early her gift for working with her hands, Desma began a traditional jewellery apprenticeship at aged 16. She has never looked back, pursuing her passion for of handcrafting beautiful jewellery for 35 years.
The journey includes a Diploma of Gemmology, Diploma of Diamond Technology and discovering a love for sharing her skills at Melbourne Polytechnic as a guest lecturer. Further commitment to the field she loves Desma became a Fellow of the Gold and Silversmith’s Guild of Australia and now holds a voluntary office on the National Council of the Guild
Working for many of Melbourne’ leading Jewellers, Desma has had her own studio for the last 20 years. She established her new Studio in Mc Adam Square in 2014.
